2011 Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder and Usher all perform at Bill Clinton's 65th birthday celebration at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Gaga turns her hit song into "Bill Romance" for her performance.

Richardson claims she was stopped, searched and arrested by local, state and federal law enforcement officers at the entrance to the club.

The Judds Release Debut Album
1984The Judds, a mother-daughter duo from Kentucky, upend the "Urban Cowboy Movement" with their throwback debut album, Why Not Me. It yields three #1 Country singles: "Girls' Night Out," "Love Is Alive," and "Why Not Me."
Wynonna, who has just turned 20, often resents her mother's controlling presence in her life, leading to constant bickering and shouting matches between the pair. But despite their clashing personalities, the mother and daughter agree on one thing: They don't like the state of country music. At the time, the genre is flooded with the pop-country style of the "Urban Cowboy Movement," influenced by the John Travolta movie that spawned a hit soundtrack in 1980. Unimpressed, the Judds want to bring back traditional country sounds with old-school Appalachian harmonies and homespun lyrics - with a bit of a rockin' rhythm to keep things fresh. The resulting album, Why Not Me, is a huge success, going to #1 on the Country Albums chart and selling 2 million copies in the US. The three chart-topping singles are a mixed bag of tender acoustic ballads and a rocking anthem of female independence - a sign of things to come. The Judds, however, already made their mark on country radio a few months earlier when "Mama He's Crazy," from their Wynonna & Naomi EP, went to #1 on the Country chart.
