Rhino releases all 58 episodes of the The Monkees in a deluxe VHS box set. It's a big box: 21 tapes, making it the largest video release of all time.
Binge watching in the '90s is more complicated than finding the show on Netflix. Rarely is an entire series made available for purchase, and when it is, it's bulky and expensive. The Rhino compilation costs $399, but does come with a Monkees watch. The series ran from 1966-1968 and was revived by MTV in 1986 when they started showing the re-runs, leading the band to re-form. There is still demand for Monkees material in 1995, and the box sets sell out.
